What we collect

For competition registration, CGL expects to collect your name, email address, handicap provider, relevant club or authority, Handicap Index, intended playing day, competition round details, score information, scorecard evidence and registration acknowledgement timestamps. Technical security information may be processed to prevent abuse.

Why we use it

We use registration and scoring information to organise matches, verify eligibility, calculate results and communicate competition updates. Our intended UK GDPR lawful basis for necessary competition administration is performance of a contract; legitimate interests may apply to fraud prevention and platform security, subject to assessment. Legal obligations may apply where relevant.

Who can see results

Public competition results are intended to show first names, handicaps, scores, skins and match identifiers. We do not intend to publish surnames or email addresses. First names and competition results can still be personal data.

Service providers

Cloudflare supports website delivery and bot protection. Supabase hosts the registration database in its West EU (Ireland) region. Relevant providers process information under their applicable terms and safeguards. Any additional email and scorecard-storage providers will be disclosed before launch.

Retention and your rights

We will publish a defined retention schedule before opening public registration. You may contact us to request access, correction, erasure or other applicable data protection rights. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Current testing

Private preview may involve real email addresses. Public registration must remain closed until this notice is finalised.
